This was my first OC since my November 2021 purchase, and it was a breeze. The SUV lives in NC and FL. It don't need no stinking 0w-20.

Out: tire shop's Mobil Super 5w-20 synthetic, generic filter
In: Amalie Super Pro 5w-20 synthetic blend, but I could not remove the oil filter housing. Torque spec is 18 foot pounds but I could not budge it with an 18 inch breaker bar and a pipe extension, and I broke my oil filter wrench in the process.. That tire shop tech must have been a real numbskull. Why do simple things have to become so difficult? My friend will take it back and make them get it right with my Fram CH9972 filter and a new oil filter housing, I hope.

2021Hyundai Ionic Hybrid

Out: bulk oil and CarQuest red filter

In: some sealed/unopened Nextgen 5w30 Maxlife friend supplied. Poured some into clear paint mixing cups; no additive fallout so into the engine it went. Used a KIA/HYUNDAI OEM filter. About 5k on the bill soil and filter also. Vehicle has 47,770 on odometer
