Did an oil change for my bro's gf's car:

1998 Ford Escort, 159,300 miles:

-4qts Motorcraft Syn Blend 10w30.
-Motorcraft FL-400S filter.

She does 3K OCI's on this car(always dino). It always has little issues, but under the fill cap is very clean! I told her to go at LEAST 4K if she can bear it

1996 Saturn: Did a short OCI with Valvoline 5W-30 dino, the last 600 miles of it I had 8 oz. of Seafoam in the oil and did a piston soak with the Seafoam the day before changing the oil (trying to decrease the legendary S-series oil consumption). Now filled with Valvoline 5W-30 dino and a Motorcraft FL-400 filter.

Want to do annual OCIs, but the consumption made Mobil 1 0W-40 just too expensive. Guess I'll change oil in April & October.

9500 miles on Castrol Syntec 0W-30 oil and a Purolator Pure One filter.The new oil is Mobil 1 0W-40 and the filter is Mobil 1 filter. The car is a '94 Geo Prizm.The date and time of oil change: Sunday after sunset.I had difficulty seeing the hole where the oil filter is supposed to be screwed on.It was that dark.
