Post your latest oil change

'94 Lexus LS400 250k miles
Peak 5W30 - FAR with Proline oil filter from Pep Boys a year ago.
Extracted 5 1/4 quarts via dipstick tube with MityVac 7201, check the dipstick before changing oil and estimated that it was 5 1/4 to 5 3/8 quarts in the engine. The oil extractor MityVac 7201 got almost all used oil from the sump for this Lexus, MityVac is best at extract oil from German engines.

Valvoline Premium Conventional 5w-30 (Bulk)
Powerflo Oil Filter

I checked the oil today in preparation for a trip and found none on the dipstick. I had just checked the oil 200 miles ago and it was only showing 1/2 qt low. It seems like the consumption suddenly skyrocketed after I began driving in the hills, or the oil got very "tired" all of a sudden.

So, I took the car to the local Sears Express Service and had them do their $19.99 oil change special with Valvoline 5w-30. We'll see what happens to the consumption.

2003 Yukon with the 5.3 6 quarts of 10W30 RP that was given to me for free! And a Fram Extended guard filter. So far nice and smooth. I would never have bought this oil for the price that I see if for around here but so far I like it. Whatever that means anyways.

Changed from PP... didn't notice any difference... maybe a little louder.

Will probably go to dino on this car next time since 5K OCIs

Also swapped ATF to the newer formula Amsoil ATF (no not ATL), because it was showing B3 maint code (time to change ATF per maint minder).

Is that the kind with the new gray bottle? I just put some of that in my Integra earlier this month. Seems pretty much the same to me.

The bottle has been silver for awhile. The viscosity was bumped up a tad when ATL came out, and maybe it's my snout but it smells even.......cattier........

Dodge Ram 1500. Just drained PP at 8100 miles. Filled with half M1 5w30 and half
PP 5w30. I didn't feel like buying oil so used what was left of 2 5 quart jugs.
I hope nothing blows up. M1 extended service filter.

09 Forester; out with the Havoline DS which held up well through a 5K OCi (No thinner coming out than going in) and Formula Shell 10w-30 GF4/SM going in. Driving around the block after the OC the Shell didnt seems as "slickery" as my favorite MC5K 5w-30/10w-40 mixture. I just wanted a cheaper alternative to RT10w-30 which is pricy now thats its T5, plus the T5 is a gallon and the FS is 5qt jug and 4 bucks cheaper. Wife says DIC fuel mileage is same on her 70 mile/day commute over the past couple days.

Did two the other day. The wife's 3100 V6 1996 Grand Prix and my friends 2001 Buick LeSabre 3800 V6.

Grand Prix Mystik jt8 10w30 Syn Blend and a Full Oil Filter

Buick LeSabre Mobil Clean 5k and a Napa Gold Filter
