I felt bad changing it. Based on color alone I could have gone 12K or longer... maybe good filtration, maybe good oil, maybe engine is easy on oil (as I have read). Science is science and right now I'm on 8K OCI/FCI with UOA to determine a baseline wear & OCI/FCI with my engine.

I remember a few years ago, before I found BITOG, wringing my hands because I was approaching 5000 miles on my oil. I drove the car like a granny until I could change the oil. I wouldn't say I was happy taking this car to 11K, but it was much less stressed about it.
