I had added a quart of PP makeup oil, and it is leaking now. Hopefully the Maxlife will stop the leak.

So whats the message, 20% PP caused an oil leak on a 15 year oil engine?
Pure coincidence nothing more, maxlife may swell the offending seal/gasket and stop the leak, but it would have leaked with PP or any other oil spec oil you may have topped up with IMHO.

Please if you don't mind can you pm me with your experiences with this oil,and fuel economy numbers.
Risktaker is doing runs down south and sending me up oil at American prices and I wanted to try this stuff out.
Are you not concerned about warranty since redline doesn't have any factory approvals that I'm aware of.

240,000 km oil change for the WRX and it's still running strong. This is great longevity for a 10 year old auto. Back to Subaru oil filters but first time using Rotella T - Triple Protection.

Also drain and fill of Brake Fluid Reservoir with Valvoline Synthetic DOT 3 Fluid - and - drain and fill of Power Steering Reservoir with Amsoil's dedicated Synthetic Power Steering Fluid.
