Had PYB10w30 in it last summer and it netted the highest mpg over the course of the OCI than any 5w20. Figured I'd try the PYB5w20 and see what happens.
Motor sure does pure with PYB.
Hopefully you meant to say OEM filter! If it was the factory filter I would love to see that UOA!

Out : Valvoline Max Life Synthetic @ 5,000 miles (oil was black on dipstick and saw sludgy deposits through oil fill hole)
Filter : Napa Gold 1334
In :
Super blast fill of SOPUS (PYB, Pennzoil High Mileage, Gold, Formula Shell, QSGB)
Filter : Napa Gold 1356 (longer filter for ease of reach when putting on and taking off)
2006 Kia Optima LX - 4cyl (115,775 miles on car)
4qt Valvoline Max-Life 5w-30 / 1 qt Marvel Mystery Oil
Bosch Premium Oil Filter
Roughly 5600 miles so far - did top off around 4500 miles
Plan on changing soon
Will be using 5 qts Royal Purple (was on sale 5qts for 10$) 5w-30
With STP Oil Filter
After that OC I will continue with Valvloline Maxlife 5w-30 by itself with whatever filter is convenient. And yes I know the car only requires 4.5 quarts per OC with new filter but I drive a 45 min hwy commute to and from school everyday so a little extra doesn't hurt plus it seems to help the idle of the car.
