That is exactly 700,000KM on your 4.0. Congrats, that is a long life for ANY engine/trans!

2011 Sonata 37,683

Out PU 50/50 5w20/10w30

In PYB5w20

Factory filter

Had PYB10w30 in it last summer and it netted the highest mpg over the course of the OCI than any 5w20. Figured I'd try the PYB5w20 and see what happens.

Motor sure does pure with PYB.

'99 Accord, 165K car, 7K oil

Out: PP 5W-30 with P1
In: QTP 10W-30 with Driveworks

The Driveworks is the product of a screwy oil change special from AAP last year. It was cheaper to get Nextgen Maxlife with the filter than without, to take advantage of a near FAR deal on the oil. The filter appears solid enough and should be fine for the 5K I'll run it.
The QTP is a remainder from the days of the AAP BOGO deals on SOPUS synthetics.

Took a sample of the PP and will post UOA from Polaris.

2005 F150
Out: Penzoil Platinum 5W20 / Napa Gold filter
12000km OCI, decent UOA, although had to add 5.5L of oil over the course of 12000km

In: Formula Shell 10W30 (Costco) / Motorcraft FL820S

Still experimenting, looking for the best oil to reduce consumption in this engine while still being able to extend OCI to 7500-10000km

Have tried GC 0w-30 and PU 5w-40 in this vehicle but it uses less oil between changes with the M1.

Also changed the cabin filter.

Out: Maxlife NextGen 5W-30. Purolator Classic filter.

In: Maxlife NextGen 5W-30. Purolator PureOne filter.

Not a change per se, but changed the filter on the GC, and filled the filter with fresh oil first. Current run on Amsoil 0w30 is at 3500 miles. Another 3000-3500 to go...

After reading a thread here that Purolator no longer warrants their oil filters past 3000 miles (it used to be for manufacturer's recommended OCI) it is time to make a change.
