I'm glad I kept it, too. It's just not worth selling with the low price I had it for sale for, I figured I might as well keep it since everything works still and it still runs and drives. is there a dicernable difference in oil consumption between Xw20 and Xw30 oils
Tuesday-
2017 Accord 2.4L 6MT, 4979 on oil, 116k on motor.
Out - Fram FE7317, 1qt HPL PCEO 5W-30 and 3.5qts PP Euro L 5W-30. Had to add 1.75qts during the OCI but it was at the full mark.
In - Fram FE7317, 1qt HPL PCEO 5W-30 and 3.5qts Chevron Delo 400 XSP 5W-40. The AAP clearance sale stuff.
Yesterday I washed it to get that salt off!

2008 CRV. 242k miles on the car, 4600 on the OCI. Timing, weather, vehicle availability, another good day to do it! A bit early but her next time home would be over 5k then with many short trips at school. Also when she's home next will be my sons wedding so probably no car work time, then Easter. It needs to go in Monday for a NYS inspection and probably Wednesday for new exhaust manifold donut and bolts. She popped a P0139 yesterday of course. She cleared it and drove home. OBD2 readiness monitor says all is well.
