Oil gets changed every few years, odometer doesn't work. This is a woods beater that stays parked at a hunting camp most of the time.

A friend stopped by after trying to get an oil change from Walmart before a holiday road trip. They said his oil filter was on too tight and refused service. I said, lets buy a filter and i'll do it for free. I have a small federal reserve of oil, so will be doing his changes in the future.

It came off without too much trouble, I think their service manager was new and amateur.

My sister's neglected 2005 Toyota Sienna with 249,859 miles:

15,290 miles and 14 months on OCI (yes, I reminded her multiple times...)

Oil was just barely registering a tiny bit on the end of the dipstick. About 1.5-2 quarts low. It's possible I changed it sometime in between this last OCI and the prior and forgot to note it, but I highly doubt it. Just goes to show how good that Toyota 3.3 is. It still runs like new and doesn't leak, it just consumes a little bit. Used full syn this time since she always goes too long.
