If I were you, I'd run some fuel injector cleaner thru it for a few tanks of gas. It's sat alot in the last 8 years. That baby need to run more.,,

Gonna run some chevron techron fuel system cleaner , I've run it about 200 miles since I bought it.

Recent changes on my three bikes.
2021 Kawasaki KLX300 dual sport Yamalube 10-40 non synthetic and a HiFloFiltro filter 2000 miles on the bike.
2021 Yamaha Super Tenere ES Shell Rotella T6 synthetic 5-40 and a HiFloFiltro filter 5400 miles oil change interval
2022 BMW R1250GS Castro Power 1 synthetic 5-40 and BMW branded oil filter 6000 miles oil change interval

Did the break-in oil change on my XR with a fresh top end build. Went camping with friends for the 4oJ long weekend. We did 116 hard off-road miles, dirt and dust and rocks and hill climbs and river crossings, I really rode that thing. Changed air filters halfway through the weekend. The drained oil was darker than expected after only 116 miles, medium dark but not black, with a very light and very fine metallic sheen that I could not feel between the fingers. The magnetic drain plugs had a little goop buildup, not too concerning. The filter looked clean. Seems like a normal break-in.
Out: 0.9qt Honda GN4 10w40, 0.9qt Rotella T6 15w40, standard filter.
In: same.

New 2023 Yamaha Super Tenere ES 600 miles with Yamaha filter and Shell Rotella T6 15-40 synthetic oil. The final drive was filled with Valvoline synthetic 75-90 gear oil.

2022 BMW R1250GS. 12000 miles, BMW oil filter, Castrol Power 1 5-40 synthetic, final drive fluid drain and fill with Valvoline synthetic 75-90 gear lube.

'23 Husqvarna 701 Enduro.
I changed oil at 600 and again at 1500 using Motorex 10w50 and KTM filters. It just clicked over to 3K miles and this time I used Maxima Pro Plus+ with the KTM filters.
The first change had a minute amount of metal on the magnetic drain plug and a little on each of the screens. Both paper filters look good.

Just put my 2023 Honda CB500X to bed for the season.

4554KM on odo.

Out Motul 5100 10-30 and the oem filter.

In Honda HP4S 10-30 Full Synthetic and a new oem filter.

Cleaned and lubed the chain, filled the tank with ethanol free premium, and attached the battery maintainer.

Until next season old girl.

ODO: 22,002
Consumed: 0 qt
Top up: 0 qt

Miles on oil: unknown
Estimated hours on OCI: unknown
Out: ~2.6 quarts, uknown blend
In: 3 quarts blend (5qts Mobil 1 15w-50 + 2.4qt Bel-Ray EXS 10w-40 + 1.6qt HPL SAE30)

Off: K&N 204-1
Estimated hours on filter: unknown
Miles on filter: unknown
On: XG7317

Oil came out very dark. Probably the most difficult bike I've changed oil on--very low to the ground.

Also did a coolant swap:
Out: unknown, likely Honda OEM fluid
In: Prestone Platinum 50/50

Also did a rear diff fluid swap:
Out: unknown, likely OEM fluid (very dark in color)
In: Supertech Marine lower unit gear lube 80w-90

Expecting to replace the front fork seals this weekend (weeping), swapping the fork fluid with Supertech High Mileage ATF (Dex III/Merc V)

I'll need to change tires after this season, as the ones on it are dated 2015 on the front and 2018 on the rear. Mostly concerned about the front since it is showing mild cracking.

If you don't have a lift, a 2x8 cut into three pieces will give you a bit more clearance. BTW, you can use the Walmart MP 7317 on these too. Mine love Rotella T4 15w40 Dino oil. I don't use it on all my bikes, but the Shadow 750s love it.
