Post Your Latest CAF Change!

That does not look like my CAFs after a year, and I only drive 5-7k per year! Yours looks like it has 1000 miles on it. How many miles did you drive in that year?
8-9k mi. It stays in the garage otherwise.

I was also surprised by the cleanliness. Previous ones had gone longer and didn't look so great. But replacement on FCP Euro 🤷‍♂️

2001 BMW E39 540 M-Sport 375,000 miles. I change these every 15k miles. I do the engine air filter (Hengst) at the same time, as they are cheap.

MicronAir made in Germany. I pictured a close up of the pleats on a dirty one, and a new replacement. There are two, one for each side

2007 Toyota Tundra 378,000 miles. I change these every 4 to 6 months, as my GF drives a ton (as you can see by the accumulated miles). Kootek brand made in China. Been using these for a few years, they are an inexpensive option on Amazon. I quit using the factory cabin filters years ago, as they do not have activated charcoal...figure better to have that, even if questionable effectiveness.
2 pack on Amazon is $10.

New one on top, old one on bottom in first picture. Probably around 12k to 13k miles.

Checked my CAF after my oil change today. The CAF was put in a year ago and has 6300 mi on it. I ended up knocking some of the loose debris out, rotating the two filters and sticking it back in until next April.
