Post Your Latest CAF Change!

Change? Nah, K&N VF2007, vacuumed it out, dunked it in water, pulled it out, lightly air hoses excess, spray some leather scented spray in the pleats and back in she went.

2014 CRV. Out was a ATP I believe. In was a Amazon Basics Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon and Baking Soda. I bought a 2 pack of these when they first came out and the price was right. First time using one. It is as thick as the OEM.

Changed the original cabin filter in my 2023 VW Jetta GLI since purchasing in November 2022.
Installed a MANN filter PN: CUK 26 009
The MANN filter, made in Mexico, and the OEM were identical even though the OEM is Valeo brand and made in Germany.

2018 Subaru Legacy Sport. Yearly change.

Out: Purolator Boss PBC35667
In: Bosch HEPA 9055C

The Puro is nice and thick. Had a lot of junk in it. The Bosch "seems" to be slightly narrower and slightly deeper. Let's see how it hold up for one year.

Don’t be surprised to experience lower air flow.

Whatever Fram that Walmart sells in stores now

I don't have experience with the older Bosch Hepa filters but the one I just put in and the one I have been using in my Impreza are thinner. It hasn't decreased airflow at all. We'll see with this one.

Put a Fram in my daughter’s 22 Tucson Hybrid. Old one was quite dirty. Super easy intuitive job didn’t even need to look it up. Unlike my QX60 which, like many Nissans, requires a contortionist.

Gave the KN VF2007 cabin filter a rinse in soap and water and lightly tapped dry. Reinstalled, ran a/c on low recirculation and noticed slightly colder and pleasantly scented. O hp gains, but I don't have a seat of my pants meter so it might give back some tq maybe.

Replaced 2 for MIL's vehicles 2004 Acura TL, and 2014 Toyota tacoma. Replaced whatever was in there with Supertech. Really disappointed with the quality of the supertech! I thought the first one might be a fluke, but both were poor.

2014 KIA Rio - Out- Generic Amazon. In - Generic Amazon
2019 Hyundai Santa Fe - Out - OEM. In - Denso (Could not find a filter for it that fit from Amazon. They SAY they do, but they don't. Wound up getting the Denso on RockAuto.)

A few months ago, at my last oil change, after about 16 months of service, the Denso CAF was replaced with a Toyota (Denso) CAF. No pics, wasn't thinking about it at the time.
