Went to start and starter is dead. Waiting for new starter

2018 Kawasaki STX15f w/ ~100 hrs

Out: Liqui Moly 10w40 PWC and WIX 51358
In: Shell Rotella T6 15w40 and WIX 51358 XP

Made the switch to Rotella T6 this time around. I spoke w/ Kawasaki engineers and they said as long as it meets the JASO MA2 an SP ratings it will be fine. The viscosity it slightly different, but the jet ski is never out under 50 degrees. Rotella T6 is about 50% the cost of the Liqui Moly. Switched to XP filter for the higher flow rate on this little high revving engine. I don't think the worse micron rating will have any long term effect on the engine. Oil coming out had about 50 hours, looked dark, but not black. Very happy in comparison to before the Liqui Moly. Purchased the ski with 18 hours, changed oil with Kawasaki 10w40 and Kawasaki OEM filter, oil was conventional. Blacker than can be. Changed out again with same oil and filter, then switched to Liqui Moly and WIX.

New engine, first oil change. Estimated 25 hours.

Also changed out the lower unit oil. Almost a full quart of Yamalube 80/90

Not oil but replaced the Yamaha brand water separating fuel filter that feeds the F150 outboard with a new one. Fixed a rough idle that developed over the winter. Must have been a little water in that year old filter.
