Post your last tire/wheel purchase

My old Kuhmos were getting very loud on the highway. They were extra loud yesterday and I decided that I had to get something quieter. Driving home yesterday on the NJTPK my Camry was very shaky and felt unsafe above 65mph. Finally stopped at a rest stop and I had a deflated tire. Saw the nail in it. Good thing I keep an inflator in the trunk. Aired it back up another time and got home. Bought some new tires this morning. Pirelli P Zero. They were $150 each plus installation. Got new TPMS sensors and with balancing and tax got out for just less than a thou. First time with Pirelli tires. DOT date code of 0926 so fresh enough.

TPMS didn't trigger with the low tire? How low was it?

The TPMS in that tire has been on the fritz and I was waiting to get new tires to replace it. It was probably 10 psi by the time I got to a rest stop to check it. Of course the TPMS starting working after I aired it up. It started at 35 psi and slowly and steadily dropped to 23 psi in the 30 minutes it took me to exit the turnpike and aired up again.
