Post your last tire/wheel purchase

Just picked up a set of 2021 AT4 wheels for my K2HC pickup. Plan to run the original tires down further before I swap these on with some new rubber.

I just ordered a new set of Nokian Rotivva AT 255R17. Discontinued, but still available. (Cheap too, $152 each) I got 54k miles out of my first set, but need the new ones installed before winter sets in!

18s? I have 285/75/18 Toyo AT2s on take offs. They clear 2018 3500 high country, but the 2011 2500 needed a little angle grinder
Yes, they're 18s. I was trying to stay away from 20"+, and was really trying to stay away from anything chrome. These checked all of my boxes.

How did you like the Toyo's? I appreciate the size recommendation, as that is something I will be looking into.

The last generation AT2s aren’t the best winter tires I’ve owned, but I like them for long highway trips and they seem fuel efficient enough. Whenever possible, I buy three ply sidewall tires like Nitto EXO and Toyo CTs. Both are better winter tires than the ATs. With stock offset wheels, you can go 35/1150 or 285/75/18 which is pretty much the same size. I thought that the city folks would be commenting on my putting E rated tires on a 2022 Acadia.

I had toyo at3's on my cherokee liked them well enough esp on a daily driver without the compromises you have to take with putting a LT BFG KO2(load range D) on a cherokee.

Most recent purchase was some Xice snows on vision boost black wheels for the subaru.
would have been about 1800 before sale if I wanted tpms (and the tpms tool you need for subaru)

so I skipped tpms (saved $160 for sensors and $$$ for tpms tool)
changed from 225/60r17 to 215/65r17 to save additional 160$ (same load rating of 99)
got them to throw in hub centering rings and lugnuts.($74)
110$ off michelins
50$ off wheels
10% off total for winter tire pkg.
$1025 shipped to my door ready to go.
still the most I've ever spent on a set..

DTD steelies werent hubcentric so I forked out the extra 150 for alloys.

Nothing too exciting. Just replaced the 14 year old full-size spare tire (some sort of Firestone all-season) with a new one on the Jetta. Feel much better knowing that my spare isn't going to fail when I need it. New tire is a 195/65R15 Kumho Sense KR26. Cheapest tire I could find from a non-Chinese company, though it turns out it's made in China.

I used to buy tires all the time at my dealership.

This year? I seem to be getting a lot of vehicles with great tread.

But today I had to pony up for two tires. 205/55/r16 Senturys for the front wheels on a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring Wagon.

My net cost will be $144.

A little late as I actually had these installed last summer but....

I purchased a set of Hankook Ventus v12 evo2s in staggered 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 fitment. They replaced some worn out Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I loved the performance of the Michelins but I figured I'd give the Hankooks a try and they have been excellent so far! They have been very sticky, quiet, and in general perform quite well. I know it has nothing to do with the performance of the tire but I like the tread pattern a bit more compared to the Michelins. The only downside so far is some flat spotting if the car has been sitting for a few days. It clears up quickly after a mile or two.

5 dynapro at2’s bought on Amazon for 150 a piece. Went with cheapest at2 tire from a reputable company I could find that was 3 peaks rated and these fit the bill. The old tires were from 2012 so a tire change was way over due. First time buying off amazon, tires came quick and al 5 are within a year old. 4 are 2022 and 1 is late 2021. Local shop charged 150 to mount and balance and dispose of old tires

Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3. 265/60-18

2021 Jeep GC

These replaced the factory Michelin tires with 40k on them. I was highly disappointed in how premature the tires wore. They performed poorly in wet and snow conditions.

The Pirelli’s already ride far better than the Michelins. We’ll see how much better they perform.

Just ordered Michelin CC2s for my wife's '14 CR-V from Costco online. Just waiting for them to come in and get them installed. I went to Costco yesterday and they said no store within the area had them and they were out of stock online too. I refreshed the page today and they had them so I ordered as quick as I could.

Just ordered a set of 4 VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO XL from Tire Rack for my wife's X5 hard to find size with 21" wheels and needed to take off the summer Pirelli Zero's that came on it when we picked it up used before the snow starts flying here...

Bought 4 steel wheels 16" at Amazon about 100$ a piece to put on winter tires for 07 Matrix.Ebay and facebook market place looking for couple months none seen.
