Post your Gas Mileage : Calculated

2010 Jeep (2 door) (3.8 V6) (6 speed manual) currently getting 8.2 MPG but thats due to a lot of driving in horrible commuter traffic and towing a small utility trailer. She will get just under 14 MPG on the highway under ideal conditions. Generally averages 10-11 MPG normally under a mix of city and highway with nothing in it and not towing anything.

08 GMC Envoy (5.3 LS V8) currently getting 10.8 MPG mostly highway driving. She will get 12.5 MPG under ideal conditions with a very light foot something I certainly don’t do very often. It’s shockingly bad considering it still has a fully functional DOD system and the same engine in a full size SUV or 1/2 ton pickup gets better mileage. There is nothing wrong with the engine, fuel trims are spot on, O2 sensors are spot on, and the engine is in excellent condition with 96-98 percent leak down across all cylinders, and zero oil consumption over a 3,000 mile oil change interval. Ignition timing and valve timing is correct. The car is also in excellent condition and the front axle disconnect is working properly. I can’t explain why it doesn’t get the same or better mileage then a Suburban/Yukon or 1500 with the same engine?
Do you get christmas cards from the Saudi royal family?

My Maverick hybrid is the only vehicle I carefully monitor the fuel mileage. Best tank ever 47.9 MPG. I purchased the vehicle new in October of 2025 and so far I have only filled up one time per month. It only has about 5,200 miles on it. It's a great little truck but we have other vehicles we drive too.

2003 Honda Civic EX 1.7L, 5MT 194855 miles
347.5 miles, 11.907 gal = 29.2 MPG
A little disappointed. There was a 90 mile highway round-trip on this tank which I thought would push the average close to 32 MPG. But on the flipside, I've been running the A/C full blast most of the time.

Tank was run from 6/13/26 to 7/01/26

Year-to-date: 3247.5 miles, 109.658 gal = 29.6 MPG

Yesterday we took the C43 on a 200 mile round trip. Even though the ambient temperature was around 97 degrees the engine oil temperature never exceeded 212 degrees and the ATF hovered around 180 degrees. Those temperatures didn’t vary much whether we were in an urban/suburban environment or cruising the interstate at 80 mph. Fuel consumption worked out to 29 mpg.

% of what I don't know.
Could not get rid of the percent sign so I thought I would type something useless. Have a Happy Fourth of July.
