I am starting to warm up to this Acura since it seems more and more like just a lifted station wagon than an SUV. It's fairly low for a Stupid Useless Vehicle, but it's practical inside and has good road manners other than a clunky ZF 9-speed transmission. There is nothing "super handling" about it though. And the MPG is awful for being a Super Boring Family Car. This tank was mostly city driving.
Supposed to have 215/60R16, I put 215/65R16 so mileage is actually about 5% higher as the car travels further distances than the odometer calculates based on revs/mile.
Ive found the displayed mileage to be a bit conservative.
2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid 43.1 combined city/highway. I have the miles recorded and it was almost a full tank of gas. This was my best tank and with hotter weather it keeps getting better. Not broke in yet with just under 5,000 miles on the vehicle.
Our 2024 Toyota Corolla with about 25K on the odometer (gas only, not a hybrid) got 45.9 mpg last weekend, highway miles on a trip from the Knoxville, TN area to the Huntsville, AL area. I had it on cruise control at 75 mph most of this trip.
Most of the time driving around town and to/from work it averages around 43 mpg.
