Meh mileage lately. Needed to save money and let insurance track me. Switched as soon as I found another policy sans tracking which was priced about the same.
I hated that, but it did force me into some good fuel economy, relatively speaking. Not that this car responds well to any of my mild hypermiling techniques. It just kind of resolutely is what it is.
25.0 average over the year and change I’ve owned my Subie Legacy GT. Letting the turbo rip more often hasn’t softened my MPG that badly. Last tank was 23.0, for instance. For a 20 year old car which can manage mid-5s 0-60 and a 14 flat in the 1/4 mile, master snow/ice, and hold its own on national forest roads, all in stock form, I can’t be *that* mad.
It’s still filled with suckage since I need high-test fuel, though.
