Post your Gas Mileage : Calculated

Applied some basic hypermiling techniques during my last civic tank and got 6.5L/100km. Didn’t drive any slower than usual but just accelerated slower and timed traffic lights and whatnot. Not bad since my winter average is around 7 and I already drove like a granny.

How are you calculating your average speed? I would guess I do 75% city driving and my trip computer usually shows average speed of about 25mph. With an average speed like yours i would have guessed something like 85%+ highway.
There are various speeds from 30 > 70 . There's village , towns , city ( 30 > 45 ) , state roads ( 55 ) and interstate ( 70 ) . So , interstate is the least . Have a light foot . Part of getting old . Gas prices also an incentive to keep speeds down .

Filled up the Maverick at Casey's with 88 octane E15. Lots of interstate in cold temps. Winter Winter go away.
As soon as temps stabilize I am going to try E0 again. The truck seems OK with the E15. 517.1 miles / 14.369 gallons = 36.0 mpg

Fill up at Casey's to beat a price increase in the morning. . I was nearby returning from Walmart. Selected E15 88 octane. This mpg figure is for E15. 215.0 miles / 5.173 gallons = 41.56 mpg. Plus when I go there people want to talk about the Maverick. Warmer weather and lots more intown driving resulted in a 5.5 mpg increase over the previous tank. Been getting lucky to be able to use the same pump. when I go to Casey's.

(This is pre QS Euro 5w40. I will monitor to see how big of a hit my mpg takes. I don’t expect it to be that much. Normally I average around 32-34, sometimes higher.)

350km round trip in the Trailblazer today. Decent highway clip with head and side wind there some side wind back. Lots of city as well. 18mpg on the dot. Not far off her best.

268/10.3=26.02 MPG. That was mostly city driving with a couple of 40 mile trips. Also included 4 35 second SCCA autocross runs as fast as I could push it. 2017 VW GTI 2.0 T with 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission.

I have gotten as high as 36 MPG doing highway trips on the interstate at 75+ MPH steady.

About 250 of these miles are with QS Euro 5w40 and I haven’t noticed any decrease in MPG. This tank I did more “city” driving than usual. Very pleased with QS Euro so far.
