I figured I'd bring this to the top for members to post their awesome winter fuel economy.
and don't forget to subtract a 1/10 of a mile to compensate for wheel spin.

97 Escort auto trans
17 mpg with lots of idling.
26 mpg 60% highway, not much idling.
 
I'm still in awe at the TL's split between city and highway. I got it up to 34mpg on the highway a few times. In the city it's at 19mpg right now and I drive it easy. Could be that it weighs a good 200lbs more than stock with the audio equipment and dynamat, not to mention 255s instead of the factory 235s.
 
Before replacing the thermostat, the Saturn was getting between 24-25 when the weather is cold (40-50F) and around 26-27 when the weather was warmer (60-70f).

After the thermostat replacement, most tanks have been in the 28-31 range. On a recent highway trip, it got 38 mpg.
 
I'm averaging 24-25 in this winter weather in my Grand Prix. Can't wait for warmer weather where I get 28+ easily if driven correctly. I'll have worn out my Bridgestone RE950 by the end of summer and I'm going to go with a low rolling resistance tire next time. If after a couple of years of use (this summer) I'm still happy with the Michelin Energy LX4's on my wagon (245/60R17) I'll probably try them on my Grand Prix as well.
 
16-17 City MPG in my 4.6 Sport Trac 2wd

18.5-19.5 City MPG in Mariner 3.0 4wd

Both will be better once we get rid of the winter-blend. Temps anywhere from 6-60 -- all within the same week!

My commuter car (91 BMW 318i) is returning only about 26 MPG for all city commuting use.

My wife's car (08 Rabbit 2.5) is returning the same for shorter all city commuting use.
 
2008 Ford Focus 30.6 MPG according to the computer.

I wanna say mostly city, though the town I live in has little traffic and only three redlights. So I guess if I lived in a major metropolis my MPG figures would be closer to the EPA estimate of 24 City 33 HWY.

We usually take one 120 mile roundtrip every other week or so. Sometimes we don't. Amazingly the car always averages between 29 and 31 mpg!

I do like this car.
 
23-26mpg. Depending on how short the city trips are, the frequency of usage for my block heater, and how long the remote starter allows the car to idle before we drive away.


Yes, that is in the Yaris (can you tell why I think it's a POS now?) My little Sunfire got about 28mpg... With no special care and plenty of WOT "fun". Keep in mind it weighs about 400lbs more, and has an extra 0.6L of dispacement...

Same gas pump, same time of day and filled 1 notch slower on the pump than max and when the pump shut off, did not top off.

Tire pressure was 33-34 psi (manual and door jam says 30)

That's very high. By any chance are you in the high plains at ~ 3,000 feet?
 
As of last weekend:

Cobalt, 1000 miles total, the DIC says I've averaged 27.9MPG since I took delivery of the car, probably 85% highway driving.

Dakota, 54,000 miles, last fill got me about 21.5MPG, pretty even mix of city/highway.

Malibu, 70,000 miles, last fill got me about 22MPG, probably 90% city, but one good run on the highway over the weekend helped to bump that up. Otherwise, I'd have been lucky to see 20 with that much city driving.

Ranger, 17,000 miles, it's used so infrequently I don't even bother calculating.
 
26 Highway,19 local and highway,17 all stop and go driving.

This is for all 3 cars..2-05 Ford Crown Victorias and a 07 Mercury Grand Marquis..A/C is on all the time in all 3 cars.
 
17.2 MPG combined over the course of the past year. 80% highway, 20% city with AC running majority of the time.

This is for my Montero. I think 17.2 is decent enough for what it is, considering the vehicle's rated 15 MPG combined.
