Post your current MPG

25.3 from the last tank in the Escape. Stiff tail wind from Sacramento to Bakersfield. Got better than on the next leg of the trip but haven't filled up yet... 225 miles at half a tank.

I average in my 2000 impala 3.8 anywhere from 22 in town to 31 highway 26 mixed normal driving

I've seen high 30s low 40s when going 55

not as awesome as some of my newer 4 bangers (45 in a ford focus) but still [censored] good

2012 Toyota Prius: Got about 50mpg on a round trip to Austin (200 miles) without trying hard, going about 75mph.

2005 Mitsubishi Lancer, base engine manual 5-speed: Got about 29-30 mpg on Memorial weekend trip to the gulf. 85% highway, 15% local roads

1999 Ford Taurus with DOHC V6, 4-speed: about 20mpg, 70% highway.

2005 Ford 500 effectively the same 1990s DOHC engine, FWD 6speed auto: about 20-22mpg, 70% highway.

This makes me marvel at Toyota's technology.

21.1 on my most recent tank, which is actually pretty good for me. That included some highway driving. I mostly drive very short trips and average 18-19mpg, but drive so little I can go two weeks between filling her up. In 2012, for example, my average mpg was 18.7 on only 5708 miles traveled.

Recently, I did get 29.1 on a tank, going to New Orleans, mostly at 75-80 mph. Not bad; I was hoping for 30 but couldn't keep my foot out of her.

I got 24mpg on this last fillup.

Really shocked because I sat in Texas Motor Speedway traffic on I-35W for a long time with the air conditioning on.

2013 Honda Civic - 1.8L getting 33-36mpg on my 6 mile round trip commute to work (I baby it).
I average 42mpg doing 70mph+ on the freeway driving to parent's every other weekend (180 mile round trip).

Looking at ~38mpg combined usually (lower if I don't visit parents).

Use 87 Octane Shell gas. Still on factory fill.

I broke 46.5 MPG for a 100 mile trip in the skyactiv, but it doesn't count. I had a 5mph tail wind.

Heads, Cam, headers, exhaust and a bunch of other stuff Trans Am
420 RWHP.
Averaged 24 mpg in mixed traffic this weekend. I love 6th gear.

Wow that's impressive for a 5.0! Did you try to drive for fuel economy?
