Post your current MPG

Haven't really been getting good mpg in the Fusion lately for some reason. It's rated at 23/31. 60/40(city/highway) driving has yielded the following four tanks; 21.4,22.5,22.4, and 23.02.

The only thing I can think of is constant A/C use and maybe the V rated tires?(Has the 18" sport wheel package). We don't drive with a heavy foot either.

I did a lot of 'extra' driving on the previous tank which explains the drop. 17.5-18MPG is probably going to be what I can get out of it in this commute even under my alternate driving methodology which consists of mild hypermiling. Its too bad I cant keep the engine hot somehow. Ive done my drive on a hot engine and gotten 20MPG fairly regularly. Driving to work on a .1 gallon of gas is pretty nice. Doing it cold 16-17 is about the limit.

Forgot to note exact numbers for amount of fuel I filled it with, but it was above 19MPG this tank. Did some extra driving as I installed a non-resonated intake tube and I liked to listen to the change in sound.

Today, I'm back up to 30.8 mpg, 309.4 miles on 10.05 gallons. For an awd car driven in mountainous terrain at high altitude, 6-9K feet, I'm happy.

Combined MPG on 70% highway is 17.8 mpg. Last trip to Jackson, MS we averaged 20.2 mpg. Truck currently has 15k on it.

Wife's Mustang averages right at 19 mpg around town, highway averages 27 mpg with the best being 30 mpg.

2011 FIT : base model w/ 5 speed auto

Display : 39.6
Calculated : 39.942 ( 333.8 mis. / 8.357 gals . )

Nearly 200 miles of this tank includes a trip that had 3 people and about 30 lbs. of cargo . This tank was many hills . Tires set at 35 . Filled at same pump of VALERO 87w/ E10 . There's almost 4,700 miles on it .

1700 Miles on the 2011 Golf: 2.5L w/ 5spd manual

All of my driving has been in relatively short-tripped suburban driving outside of Philadelphia.

Calculated MPG: 25.1

Still looking to see what I get from a straight hwy trip.

Last tank in my Civic got me 39.2 MPG

I did a 70 mile run this morning with the speed at 50mph most of the time and got 53.3 MPG!

First tank in the Cruze Eco: 296 miles, 7.4 gallons, 40.5 MPG.

This tank had a lot of speed changes, sustained high-speed operation, and just playing with the new car in the hills. It also had a fair bit of highway at 60-65 mph. The MPG readout in the car that tracks MPG and fuel used was just a few tenths off for MPG and fuel used.

Currently the DIC reads 48 mpg in mainly highway driving between 55-65 mph. I hope it's right! :)

I've had my 2011 Golf TDI for 2 months and just over 3300 miles.

Last tank in the TDI: 501 miles on 12.8 gals=39.1 mpg(about 70% hwy).
A couple previous tanks: 587 miles on 14.0 gallons=41.9 mpg
583 miles on 14.1 gallons=41.3mpg
Both those tanks were about 90% hwy driving at 67-72 mph.

16.6mpg on the Escape last tank. In it's defense I was pulling a 58 F100 on a tow dolly part of the trip and pickup bed trailer the rest. Not to mention the 4 of us and all the other junk.

Just filled up this evening after work. Topped off my del sol at 155.6 miles for 3.183 gallons at the fred meyer for a excellent return of 48.88 mpg! Best yet! Getting closer and closer to my 50mpg w/ ZERO mods goal.

Have you been noticing better MPG as the mileage on the engine adds up? I am hearing 8k+ is when people tend to notice some better MPG, but I figure every car varies.

38.2 in my 2009 Elantra 5MT with 60/40 highway/city driving & A/C approx 75% of the time. I typically average 35-38 year round with this car.

15.7MPG
210 miles from 12.133 gallons = 17.3MPG
198 miles from 10.87 gallons = 18.22MPG
191 miles from 10.7 gallons = 17.85MPG
19MPG?
