I had miserable experience with gearwrench, 2023 black friday I purchase a 3/8 flex head digital torque wrench model 85078 only a few month later did I actually turn it on and notice the up arrow button on the digital pad is broken. Go online and fill out the warranty form , upload documents fill out a long from, hit submit and get an Error.
I call in customer service ( call 1), Oh your in Canada, we don't do you boy's here, call the Canada number !
Makes sense, I call the Canada number (call 2) and oh they don't do warranty for the digital tools, I am referred to some other place in Ontario. (call 3) Call them up and they tell me an instrument calibration company out of Beauport, Quebec does warranty work
I call them they tell me they are new to doing warranty service for Gearwrench and they tell me it might take time. (call 4) I sent in my wrench and to my surprise 2 weeks later I get it back ! but Still broken ! they did not fixed, as they during there testing no issue found. So I called them back (call 5) and sent if back and wait another month to get if back fixed.
And will this happens I get one same a random package in the mail from Gearwrench it's a 18mm ratcheting box wrench ! Where did that come from: the original warranty web page I filled out that ended in a error I suppose.
