Porsche Driver arrested for 150mph. Judge dismisses case!

Yeh, just what we need more people who do not harm anyone in jail. If he had hurt someone, I would say drop him under the jail, but this comes under the heading of "what did he really hurt." As the court decided, in my opinion correctly, nothing.

If we keep on going on the "make a law kick" we are on, half of our population will be in jail and the other half watching them, meanwhile the really good criminals will be out of jail running everything.

The highest speeding ticket / lowest fine that I've paid is $70 for '+110 mph', on a Suzuki 1100. The CHP were initially really teed off but after explaining to them that I had lots of miles on sport bikes, the conditions were good, no traffic, and that I wasn't trying to outrun them they calmed down and worte mr for speeding instead of wreckless. They said that they know that I didn't try to outrun them as I could have easily done so, that they were topped out at 110 mph and I would pull away like something on Star Trek :^)

They did set a road block up for the car that I was playing with.

I once got off for 100MPH in a 50MPH zone...I thoguht they were racing, but they were chasing.

Apparently they enjoyed it.

I agree with the judge. I think the other charges are the appropriate ones.
