MY best friend has a Cobalt SS with that 260-HP Turbo, and it just goes like STINK!

It amazes me that an 'econo car' can go and handle as well as his does!

i'e driven an auto solctice without the turbo and i must i was dissappointed in the performance,i imagine they fixed that with the GXP version though.

I appreciate the nice comments!
I am really enjoying it. I hope you get to "borrow" her car for a weekend drive one day! :)

Yep, it sure is disappointing...

You're right. It does handle great.
I got the GMPP tune "upgrade"/"Stage II" installed this week. I thought it was quick before but, man, this made a noticeable difference!

I can't comment on the auto because I've never had an auto as a personal car, nor have I tried out an auto Solstice, but I'm sure it isn't as fun!

I think the base Solstice was to compare with the Miata's and such, for those into top-down cruising and not worried about high performance. The GXP on the other hand...will give some pretty fast cars a run for their money!

I did them myself this weekend. Hopefully they hold up!
