Doesn't matter...both GM & Chrysler are zombies and need to be cut loose to go Chapter 11 and either liquidate or restructure. Hanging onto them in their current state will drive the supplier tiers into bankruptcy stopping parts manufacturing and dragging down the entire sector.

Delphi is on the skids...has been for 3 years...when they die it will put another nail in GM's coffin. The time lag for other suppliers to pick up the slack will be a real problem. But the industry will survive. Keep your eye on Ford...they will reap huge benefits in the long run.

That's for vampires and werewolves. Salt drives zombies away; feed 'em anything with salt and they'll shamble away post-haste.

Even though Buick is huge in China, in the US, they should keep Pontiac and drop Buick, imo. GM has a fantasy that Buick is a Lexus competitor. In reality the demographics show Pontiac gets a younger group of buyers that buy more often.

GM does do the "logic" thing. Part of the reason they are in the condition they are in.
