Hey guys, Ive been using german castrol 0w-30 for about 2-3 years now and reading the forums and such seems like it may not be the choice to use anymore now that the formulation is changed / and there are better alternatives?
Im thinking on my next oil change of switching to use either 5w-30 royal purple or maybe mobile 1 0w-40 which seems very liked around here?
A little extra info on the car, im not sure if its because the german castrol is 0w-30 or not but the car just eats it up.. I have a catch can that catches alot of oil, so not sure if thats why or maybe its being burnt.
Car is a 2006 Chrysler 300 3.5L, and I am located in Toronto Canada.
Any help is appreciated and thanks for your time
