I'm extremely sympathetic to the OP. While I would NEVER condone violence or vandalism, I have left very direct notes on windshields telling people they park like jackwads, and that would be appropriate here. It appears here, the OP has a nice car and the garage spots are tight, so he purposefully parked in the farthest spot. The garage was otherwise relatively vacant, and someone else snugged up against him making door dings more likely and for a more difficult exit. This other driver behavior drives me nuts. Unfortunately there's a lot of dumb, oblivious, or rude inconsiderate people in society to deal with. I have parked in the back 40 empty spots before, and had people snug up against me. I've seen idiots who insist on parking their monster pickups, right up tight in the front rows where they are obnoxiously inappropriate.
I like my personal space, and try to give myself space and others space. I don't understand the mental illness of people needing to occupy the spot on this earth, I am in. It happens in grocery stores, big box stores, parking lots, you name it, someone is always on my *** and needs to be in my footprint. I don't get it.
One of my examples. I was returning something to Lowes and I parked way out in the lot where nobody was. I pulled forward as I normally do for easier exit. I was getting the item out of my car trunk. As I'm leaning into my trunk, some jackwad in a monster Suburban decides, of the 300 empty spaces way out in the lot, he has to pull right up on my rear!!!
We had words. He parked somewhere else.
