Pizza Hut Mushroom Mystery

About three years ago Yahoo news had an article about agricultural products from China. Now when I purchase dehydrated onions and garlic I always check country of origin. Most products contain more pestisides and pollution than what's allowed by American standards.Farm raised tilapia from China lets not even go there.Of course when eating out you never know what you're putting in your body. But pizza is my favorite junk food.

Pizza Huts in my area are barely hanging on. Marco's Pizza is expanding and is pretty good.
They have all turned into small takeout storefronts. No sit down dining around here. Which is a bummer, as I always liked the Pizza Hut buffet when in HS, and going there for a book it free pizza when in elementary school.

Frankly, take out or delivery pizza is nowhere near as good as fresh out of the oven… no matter where you get it from.

That seems to be the model. I haven't seen one with a dining room in the US in decades. I think many also have delivery.

I've ordered and picked up to eat right in my car. That's not bad.

I just hit Little Caesars.
Was pretty cool as I haven't been to one since the 80's.

About 8 miles from my house.
Got the counter cabinet where you punch in your code and pizza pizza comes out..lol

$11 bucks

A couple weeks ago I ordered another pizza and I rolled into the store and a youngster guy around 45 lol watched me walk to the cabinet and punch in the code and he thought I took him to Mars.

He was thrilled. I look at him with glee and said "cool huh" and he shook his head...yeah man..

Haha that's AWESOME!:D

I may as well come clean guys.
I only eat my pizza on Corelle and with a fork...
I feel so ashamed...😥😥😥😂😂
Major faux pas!

I remember NY mayor Bill de Blasio being excoriated by the media for eating pizza with a fork in NYC. His excuse was that "it's more common in my ancestral homeland to eat pizza with a knife and fork, and I've picked up that habit". So, in typical politician fashion, he attempts to spin it that HE is actually more authentic for eating it with a fork and knife!

John Kasich has also been guilty:

Here in our neighborhood, the old 1970s Pizza Hut went out of business a couple of years ago.

Awesomely, a joint called Sir Pizza bought the building and renovated it, and they make that great, thin-crust, homestyle pizza. Not quite Italian or NY style, which we also like, but we like all different kinds, including NY, Chicago Style, Detroit Style, pretty much any kind we can get except your generic Papa John's, Domino's, or Pizza Hut. In my opinion, those are reserved for people who want to cheap out (I can think of a couple of managers at work who have ordered us that garbage, lol). Come on, man. If you're gonna spring for generic azz chain pizza, at least get some Jet's Pizza!

New York style has always been my fave!!👍

I remember when in High School back in the late 90s early 2000's when Pizza Hut had buffets. I would get my money's worth. They closed those, then I think both places closed a few years back. Even the Pizza Hut Express is gone.

I remember Roundtable has buffets at least about 5 years ago, usually you only want to eat vege and supreme for a couple slices instead of like half a pizza. I also think they didn't put a lot of effort in the buffet pizza vs the made to order one.

Around here you can’t even order green olives at most pizza places, a bland thin crust from even Pizza Hut is edible with them but they don’t offer it that way anymore.

The one pizza place in town that offers green olives seems to blend them in a food processor and spreads them on like jelly,

I like green olives but as Groucho would say

“I love my cigar, too, but I take it out of my mouth once in a while."
