Pipercross foam filter for motorbike

Hey. I had a k&n filter on my previous motorbike (SV1000) and noticed that there would be fine dust within the 'clean' side of the airbox. Additionally, after washing the filter and looking through it at a lightbulb, it appeared really really thin in places.

I now have a 1050 Speed Triple and wasn't considering an aftermarket filter as I thought the paper filters filtered the best and aren't practically seethrough. However I've come across Pipercross filters that are foam.

Has anyone had experience with pipercross and their filtration qualities? I have looked for comparison tests but can't seem to find any for foam filters.

I've been running one in my 750 GSXRK6 for over a year. Good investment IMO. I also use the No Toil cleaning and oil kit with it from the start. The airbox is always spotless on the filtered side.
