How can you beat the 0 down 0 first month payment $190/mnth for 35 months? Sold the Merc yesterday and picking up the Civic this afternoon. The local Honda dealer had ONE in stock and it is silver (I wanted black but, meh). I can't wait to save some $$$ at the fuel pumps. The sale of the Mercury will pay for the entire lease. Nice.

What engine is in that? Which Dash do you look at the top or bottom? Which Merc did you sell? You will need a wing, 4" stainless muffler hangin and gauges on the A-pillar as a start to go into town without ridicule

I thought they came from japan?

Congrats and enjoy. Just wondering what your maintenance responsibility is with the lease?

Enjoy the new ride. If you're looking to save gas, you bought the right car. My mom's 2010 civic gets upper 30s on the interstate without even trying, and its automatic.

I got a 2007 Civic and its been a great car, I can break 40 MPG on the highway. Silver is a better color in my opinion.

No room for my big feet in the passenger floor in the civic. No probs with my tiny yaris in this regard. Someting about the floor pan shap, angle and how the HVAC system hangs I suppose ...

just got home with it. NO FLOOR MATS, gonna use an Advance Auto Code, LOL. As far as maintenance requirements of the lease, oil changes according to OLM and 6K rotates. Does NOT need to be done at a dealer, just needs to be documented. I will be running 5w20 Citgo Semi-Syn I got from ACO. For some reason the VP does not come with a center console lid so I will either make my own or look into some options on the 'net. Pics in a minute.

Just curious, what other cars did you cross shop against the Civic?
Impreza, Mazda 3, Focus, Sentra, Lancer, Cruze. I really was just looking to get something much more fuel efficient since the Mountaineer that the fiance' drives averages about 13-14 MPG. I HATE GM products ever since I worked at a Caddy/Buick/GMC dealership service dept. so that eliminated the Cruze quickly. I love the looks of the Lancer and Mazda 3's but the dealers around here either jack up the price on 'em or the mfg offers wanted a ton of $$$ down. Impreza lease deals are pretty good right now but Subaru F'd the looks up on that car now IMHO and it is a tad more cramped inside than the Civic.

I've been watching these lease deals for about 3 months now and when Honda did this lease offer until 5/2/2011 I knew it probably wouldn't get any better, especially with a re-design 2012 model on the horizon. The second I knew my car was sold for sure yesterday I ran to the PC and checked the local Honda inventory and called the dealer about 20 minutes before they closed. I assured them I was gonna be in and out leaving with it so when we pulled in there today, there it sat, all fueled up, washed, and ready to go. Total time at the dealer was under an hour. I had to pay doc fee ($190 in MI) title fee, plate xfer, and registration change all to the sum of $237. I have no first month payment with there being 35 total on a 36 month lease. My payment is $201.83 due to tax on the $190 month lease. No complaints. It sure will be nice to have a car under warranty again.
