Picked up some Citgo Synth blend

I live right beside a Citgo station and noticed today they had a huge display of the synth blend for a buck a quart. So I picked up some for top-offs.

Put it in the freezer with a guart of Motorcraft overnight. The Citgo definitely flowed better. seems like decent stuff.

The oil sickness has taken over.

I got enough to take care of all the oil changes my oil truck is gonna need until it's put out to pasture.

I'm going to be doing UOAs and VOAs as well.

The guy at the counter looked at me like I was crazy.

Wonder if they were just closing it out, or if all of the Citgo's get rid of theirs (independent stations I know), I'm always looking for a deal

Another station in my town has it for 3 bucks a quart.

Which isn't that bad if it's quality stuff.

But be on the look out.

Note: in my original post I said I froze it overnight. I intended to, but checked after several hours. I just bought it this morning.
