Picked up a Holtzfforma G395XP = Awsome

I do not have equipment to measure squish. I may do the solder trick and let the piston pinch it just to see. I know this next statement will not answer your question but Farmertec had some really crappy ports / squish specs on their cylinders when they first came out with clone saws. Kind of how Hyway clone cylinder used to be terrible. 2024 model years and prior G395XP clones had lots of piston slap. They corrected this in 2025 + production runs but i'm unsure when exactly when. I would assume the port timing and squish are now pretty much dead on OEM specs as these run neck and neck. Also the cheap carb stays in tune and it runs really strong.

I take all new saws apart now, to check and dress any rough ports, and to wash the machining grit out. I wanted to see the quality of the internals.

You cannot port these saws easily as the cylinder plating will flake off when you start grinding. You really must know what you are doing, and even the pros dont like to touch them. Also these cylinders will not be re-usable if you have a seizure. They do however hold up really well if left alone and just run them stock.
