I have a 3.5 VQ in my 04 Maxima and use Mobil 1 T & SUV in it, loves it. Still $20.00 at Wallmart, while AMSOIL is good stuff the price has gotten quite high. I would rather change my oil every 5-6k and not try to set records at my expense.
Yes it does, and yes it is. Check out the UOA section for yourself, there's some interesting data there, including some fairly unimpressive UOA with the factory "preferred" 5w-30. Note also that one of the three oils the "factory engineers" specified for this engine is a 40 wt (10w-40) anyway.quote:
