Hi. I am replacing my head gaskets. I need to remove the exhaust manifolds. The torque strut on the passenger side of the car is in the way of the heat sheild. I need to remove the entire thing, including the part that connects the the engine. Does anyone know how to remove it?

You can leave the bracket that is attached to the radiator support. The bracket on the engine has 2? bolts that are down low in addition to the couple mounted on the head. FWIW, I usually leave the manifolds (just take the cross pipe off) on and deal with them on the bench.
