PG195EX made in Korea

I ordered a case of 6 PG195EX from E-Bay. From the research I did it looks like it is an automotive wholesaler located in California that has an E-Bay store front.

The filters look great, but this is the first time I’ve seen PG filters made in Korea.

There is a leak test stamp on the top of the filter but it is very hard to read. What I did notice is that it is the same number, 18MHM0640, that is on the label on the outside of the box. Enjoy.

So looks like PGI has a factory source in S. Korea too, along with Vietnam and China (ie, the two Advanced Filtration Inc factories).

I just used one of those on my Mustang two OCI's ago, but mine was made in Vietnam. Sourced on Walmart.com IIRC.

Pentius PLXL 7317 99%@20 microns 10,000 mile filter. Very well built. Almost if not identical to PG built XL filters.

Some of these bulk buys are pretty competitively priced. Good eye on the coo. Since we know there is Pentius and ecogard source in Korea it probably is the same manufacturer for these PG.

Premium Guard has had Korean factory connections for a very long time as I have seen many cartridge filters under PG label made in Korea and the basic canister ones as well like below from 2017.

I snagged few of these from work since boss didn't have problem with it. Was on friends 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe with QSGB 5w30 for 6,500 miles. Put another one on and more QSGB 5w30 in.
