PF64 on sale

thanks FDT09…I picked one up for the GF’s 2013 Malibu 2.0T…she never hits the mileage for an oil change but I always have the oil changed by the 1 year mark except once…when I went a couple months over a year because of very low mileage…some gasoline smell in the oil convinced me to make sure her car goes for a longer drive once in awhile as well as checking the oil often and checking for gasoline dilution of that oil...

GF’s car has had mostly full synthetic 5W-30 and either the PF64 or UPF64 (back when they were good) during it’s life…still seems to run and drive as well as look like new...

Cool. Yeah, I'm using full synthetic 5W-30 as well. Mostly did oil changes at a shop but started doing my own over the past year. Just recently have started using R&P. Even though it isn't Dexos certified, most things I've read seem to suggest it meets all Dexos specs. Seems like a good oil. Car seems to run slightly smoother after a few thousand miles. Will probably switch back to Mobil 1 Dexos oil next, and then maybe back to R&P - as I have a jug of each right now.

I'm only at 86k miles though. But everything runs pretty great. Had some transmission hesitation after I did a drain and fill recently, but I think that was due to a low fluid level. Ended up adding more fluid, to the point it's slightly over the max fill line on the dipstick, but now it shifts fine.
