My neighbor near me got this truck a while ago. Sticker said PYB 5w30 and this filter. Looks good to me. Tough guard and Smittys Super S 5w30 on and back in

Seems not cheaply made. I'd buy a "Performax" filter based on these photos.

What part of the country are you in? ....never heard of Performax. Kira

It is a Pennzoil brand.

Not bad at all, and a substantial oci. 'In my observation' the Puro made for Sopus filters posted here 'seem' to a have better QC especially as related to the uniformity of pleating. And 'maybe' the newer manufacture date a factor too.

Thanks for the c&p.

Kira: I am in NorthwesternPA/OH area and if memory serves me, Performax is filters Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube uses. Can anyone confirm this or did I make a fool of myself? lol.

Sayjac: my friend just transferred to my location and has a 99 4wd Blazer. Truck he uses to help me haul stuff to goodwill, and food banks

. He said "6,500 OCI is safe # to use." So that's what we shall use
