Thanks for the latest update. This makes me want to spin off the Champ-made, Amsoil EA15K13 filter with the ruffled tail feathers around the bypass valve and 1,000 miles since the last OC, and put on a Pentius, which are waiting patiently in a closet, but ready for action!

Yes the Korean is the upgraded model so just by design it has better and thicker media, more of it, thicker can, silicone adbv and gasket and from what I have seen the quality control is better.. Just recently I saw the first Chinese PLXL somewhere.. maybe here .. but it was not cut open. We have to see the guts to know if that factory is matching the Korean one on the upgraded filter.
