That's because Castrol uses tiny bits of ground up sand-paper to help clean deposits off the cyclinder walls...LOL...oh yeah..woo hooo....KNEE SLAPPER!!!

Ok..that was laim...but let me say that I also notice that Pennzoil is smoother...I wonder if it has to do with the use of moly?? Castrol does not use it.

It's a good question...I'm wondering if anyone here knows the answer to it.

I'd use it all the time in the Mazda3 if I wasn't required to get all my oil changes at the dealership where I bought it (to get free tires for life).

I don't have the same deal (diff dealership) with the RX-8 and I won't let the dealership I bought it from touch it again. If I have a warranty issue, it'll go to my Mazda3 dealership.
