I recall someone on here saying that Pennzoil Platinum 10w30 has a great NOACK and is almost equivalent to an SAE 30, can someone confirm this? Can the same be said for Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage 10W30?

I've got some Pennzoil Platinum 10W30, but no way to test the NOACK. If anyone has access to the equipment, I'd be happy to send a sample for the board

PP is a fine oil, I've ran the 5w30 for several changes in my GMC w/ 5.3 and in my Civic which I just switched over to the HM version with the last oil change. Years ago I used Castrol GTX then switched to Mobil 1 but it burns off easily in Honda's and then PP became all the rage and was a lot cheaper than Mobil 1 so I switched.

I've used Suxxsziol over the years in fact they even paid me 1 out of three rebates just so you know what your getting into.

Johnny, I think you should complain some more about it. You've definitely got the worst luck when getting rebates of everyone I've seen here. I bet it was even intentional they picked you! Exactly how many years ago did this occur?
I generally consider a rebate a bonus if I get it, because I don't buy things that I wouldn't otherwise use just because of a rebate.
I'm also pretty sure that not getting the rebate doesn't actually affect the product, other than a negative confirmation bias that the oil now "Suxxs" because they screwed someone out of a rebate. Are you 65 going on 8?

I have never been denied a rebate from Pennzoil, and I have done atleast 10, something is wrong if you don't get your rebate.

I just order all my PUP from Walmart as well and have it delivered free. I have noticed Walmart is the only place I can reliably find Pennzoil Ultra Platium 10w30; Amazon sellers either don't have it, or want $50/5qt. Walmart has it for $24.97.

I know what you mean. I went to Canadian Tire to get some Motormaster oil and all the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum jugs were in the way !
