I am so shocked! I just saw Pennzoil 5W-40 at my local ABC Discount Auto store! Back label says ACEA A3/B3, Mercedes 229.3, VW 502/505, BMW and Porsche approvals. $4.49 per quart! This is great!

Nice! I'm sure that means other companies will now begin to offer 5W-40 oils, too. Now, where shall I start looking for this oil?
Well well it appears NA is catching up after all. Nearly every vendors top of the range syn here is 5W40. Who's next I wonder?

There is no ABC Discount Auto in California.
