PBS: What are UFO's?

There is, IMO, but you and I haven't seen it. But yes, more stories. These stories aren't just coming from a bunch of whackos. Listen to what they're saying and look at who they are.

We're at a tipping point and I'm hoping someone finally blows the lid off whatever it is. The drone issue in NJ is still going on just not being reported on.

Ok but there still is no verified proof

There just isn’t

Sorry

Proof - If you consider mach 2 orbs from the AARO report as proof then yes.
Proof of what? Who Knows.

There is evidence of something (who knows what) - mountains of it and from compelling people.

I don't know why poeple get emotional over this topic.

I mean a certain disease did lower the integrity of medical and epidemiological science, but for the most part the physical science community is believable.

I never said people are whackos. At least the PBS does point that out quite well.

That said, I saw NO explanation of the largest mystery to me. The dangly armed thing. WTH is that one? Maybe a FLIR aberration.

I posted the video not because I am a PBS lover, but because NOVA does a really good job of explaining some of the IR video. In fact some of the debunking evidence is irrefutable. As odd as that sounds. People always get emotional when the facts are sketchy. Nothing to hang yer hat on, so to speak.

I can only ask, has anyone explained this;

Through BBC article on the subject on why people believe in UFO's.

From the article:

Paranormal beliefs can be dangerous insofar as it depends on people's reasons for believing this stuff.

If it's because they lack critical thinking skills, then that opens the door to a lot of other kinds of beliefs that can be potentially dangerous.
On the other hand, there are psychological benefits from believing in the paranormal.

People do take psychological comfort from those kind of beliefs, particularly at times of stress and crisis and so on.

Is there a specific type of person that believes in the paranormal?

There are lots of different factors that come into play.

Personality is one of them, and there are certain personality dimensions that pretty reliably correlate with paranormal belief.

Things like fantasy proneness, a personality dimension called absorption, the kind of tendency that you might have if you're watching a film or reading a book to get totally engrossed in it.

Those things are involved in being very creative and having a good imagination.

Those kind of people are more likely to believe in the paranormal and they're more likely to report paranormal experiences.

Because there's people who feel extremely slighted that the powers-that-be feel they can't be trusted with such information, people who are scared to death of the whole idea of us not being alone, etc.

Personally, I think it would be pretty cool to know for sure, but until I see it with my own eyes, I'm not wasting any energy stressing over it.

I believe UAPs are crafts/devices/things created by humans, militaries mostly, top secret level stuff. I also believe there may be intelligent life elsewhere in the universe that humanity will never make contact with. My opinion on this and $5 will get you a crappy cup of coffee.

They cant be trusted, about this or anything else.

I hope none of it is true.

If it's true it isn't going to end well for us.
