So true. You know how they say truth is stranger than fiction? I think that's due to the fact that if someone produced fiction that was too outrageous, people would think it was too much and wouldn't respect the creator of that fiction. If they made a Bond villian who had a yacht like this, movie goers would say "that's completely ridiculous, why did they have to make the villain's yacht so absurdly big. And two helicopters?!?" Only fact is allowed to be this wild.

In Thunderball, Blofeld's #2, Emilio Largo, had a large yacht, the Disco Volante. It could separate into two vessels, one being a small hydrofoil.

I didn't reply to anyone specifically, just typed a response in the quick reply block at the bottom of the page. The op said "Because everyone needs two helicopter landing pads" at the top of the picture. Usually these degrade into disapproval of this kind of spending when it's based on profits from a business.

I don't know who they are, but Paul Allen's bigass house is about 6 miles from where I sit. Bill's is even closer.
Wonder why neither has invited me over?
