Let me preface this by saying that I've worked with Frank Miller off and on for the past 18 months or so. We collaborated/cooperated on one of my experiments and a friendship was formed ..at least as much of one as can be formed over the telephone and internet. While I have not broadcast this everywhere ..I've made no effort to conceal it either. It is due to this friendship that I relay this communique to the membership.

Dear BITOG,
Recent events have caused my sponsorship to end on BITOG. It has become clear that my participation here on BITOG is not in my best interests and the controversy generated out of it is not good for the board. While I'm sure Auto-Rx topics will come up for discussion, I will no longer personally participate in them. The promotion of Auto-Rx and seeing the enterprise grow is my life goal. I let my passion for the product of my creation overpower my wisdom and sensibility. I take full responsibility for my conduct. For this, I beg your pardon.

I would invite anyone who wishes to contact me about matters pertaining to Auto-Rx applications to email me at [email protected]

Inventor of Auto-Rx

That sucks. One more good guy gone from here.

I propose that those folks here that are knowledgeable and experienced in successfully using Auto-Rx continue to help others with questions regarding the product. This is my intent. Sharing and receiving helpful knowledge and experience is the main reason I came here in 2004.

+1 bmwtechguy. you have been helpful to me along with so many others on this forum including frank. shame to loose another good guy.

Gary fits the bill. Probably the most mellow person on the internet today. But even though Frank won't be posting about ARX any longer, will he still make posts about other stuff or has he quit the board entirely?

Uh, did Frank post about anything else? Maybe I missed those posts. I think he is just no longer a sponsor, but I didn't search.

Will he be true to his word and actually leave, or will he wait until just the right moment to make a dramatic return to the spotlight and cheers of his adoring fans. The drama continues...

Considering the carnage that has taken place due to ARX, perhaps this is the best decision for both ARX and BITOG.
A shame Frank could not remain as a sponsor, perhaps with a banner Ad and perhaps have a mild mannered spokesman.
