Paid $28,800 for our 2021 Mini Cooper S and Vroom just offered me $31,377.

Yea it is crazy but be vigilant. The Audi dealer where my 2012 A6 3.0T (with 42k miles ) been serviced since new offered me, in writing, only $8800. Carvana‘s offer was $19,800 cash just based on the VIN number and Carfax data. I sold it to Carvana just before Christmas three weeks ago.

I hope it works out. I am thinking of selling to Vroom also. But then I look around and there is nothing. I am thinking of getting an older car but if one comes up with low miles people are on it like sharks feeding. They are paying way over retail KBB. It’s like they will pay anything to get it. I saw Vroom says they reserve the right to adjust the price based on any hidden defects, or market conditions. The last one especially got me hesitating. So it would be interesting to know how it goes.

Is that $28,800 all said and done and then you will clear $31,377? People seem to forget sales tax and other expenses (registration) on these types of threads

It was a swap of a 2018 Wrangler that was looking like it could be a lemon. So no tax implications
