Package damaged and discarded, has this happened to any one else?

Which lab? I've heard others saying their sample was lost in Indianapolis.

Last year I ordered a case of transmission fluid from Chevron in Texas. It was shipped FedEx ground and I tracked it all the way to a local distribution center. Then the delivery date kept getting pushed back until I got tired of waiting and I contacted the facility. They claimed that the case arrived open and the contents missing.
I asked if they intended to let me know and got no reply. I had to do a credit card reverse charge to get my money back. FedEx is not anywhere near the level of UPS service and I've settled on rating them down there with the USPS.

SpeeDiagnostix just changed over from USPS to FedEx.
not oil samples, but I've had a couple USPS packages fall off the map in Indianapolis this year.. one a Pkg of gummies, that i was quickly refunded, then a month later I get a delivery failure notification from the USPS, saying it's at the local PO to pick up. when i went there, they couldn't find it, and miraculously the next day it was marked as delivered, though it never showed up in my mailbox.
my most recent order of Glasses, from a Company i've been using since around 2009 with no problems, shipped from upstate NY, and disappeared in Indy for about 2 weeks before magically appearing in my mailbox one day.
I ordered 2 jugs of oil from Walmart and the box arrived with leaking oil. Two jugs were just lying on their side. One jug had a crushed corner on the bottom. It was barely seeping. Put it on a tower in the garage. Luckily I had an upcoming oil change. If it had been worse I would have reported it.
If there is a shipping department where you work go talk to the people there. All the carriers constantly deliver to the wrong place. You might receive 50 packages, one is not yours, and one you were supposed to have gotten is not there. How this happens with their supposed scanning is beyond everyone. Luckily the pro's typically just hold it for the pickup next day, and the carrier has to scan it back into their system and it goes back to the DC. And your hoping the other guy does the same with the one your missing.
