Amsoil Signature Series 0w-20

I would not be happy with this answer at all. Quite surprising even
When I make the switch from Amsoil to HPL next service interval, I will also be switching to WearCheck for my used oil analysis testing. This is the lab HPL uses for customer sample testing. For a very short trend analysis, I will also get one final used oil analysis from SD on the AMSOIL Signature Series 0w20 I've been running since the first oil change in the Pilot.

Where do you get sample kits for wear check? I dug through their site a bite and didn’t see anything. I’d be interested in trying them out.

Someone posted this link in another thread to the HPL testing kits. I couldn't find them on Advanced Lubrication's website doing a search, but ordered and received four kits using the link. The ShipTo address on the kits says HPL, but a Google maps search shows the address as WearCheck.

In this particular case (molly levels) it seems to be superior though
How is that possible? Does ICP mask or have interferences with molybdenum? You have to be careful answering that since it’s also dependent on the other elements present in the sample. Also the concentration.

This reply makes zero sense to me, and I honestly don't think you are asking this seriously. But this being a public forum where new members might read this, the reasoning is about the particle size

I guess I need to buy extra sample containers off Amazon to capture extra used oil when results aren't as expected, samples are lost, etc. I may not have the patience to figure it out, losing "valuable data" until I do.

Changing my oil used to be so much easier when I didn't know about used oil analysis, additive packages, etc. I used to buy the best Amsoil had to offer and didn't know about all this other stuff I was "missing".
An extra oil sample is a smart idea. This is what I planned to do from this day forward. I always worry the sample my get lost in the mail or lost at the company. I will order some bottles of Amazon.
