Well, trying to choose between the two and I can't find anything about the UTQG for the Kumho. Also their customer service won't answer any of my emails.
Huh, Wierd that the Maxxis has one and it's also a non-US tire. Infact, they both look like they have DOT codes as well. I;ve seen other sizes of the HS52s with a grade

Most tires not sold here still have DOT codes since they're basically the de facto standard everywhere, though the UTQG could be less common, especially now that Europe has their new EU Tire Label.
Even race car tires and other non-street tires will have the same DOT code format (production week, factory plant code, etc) but without the word DOT in front of it.
Okay, actually found a couple more that meet my criteria but I think I am going to go with the Maxxis, seems to have the best wet weather reviews of the few I saw.
So does anypony know a reputable shop that will ship to the US?
