These codes have been my nemesis for awhile. They come and go randomly. The 02 sensors check out good. I was talking to my mechanic who does stuff for me that I am too old to do LOL, he said you may have a clogged injector. I ran Techron and the light went out, but came back on the following fill up. I decided to try a tank of E85 and it initially threw a lean code both banks, but that quickly resolved itself and all the lights went out for like a month now. Anecdotally I can say that E85 is a hell of a fuel system cleaner. LOL

The higher the ethanol content the better the cleaning, ethanol is a better solvent compared to regular gas or even E15 which contains less ethanol.

Getting the lean code is normal if your vehicle isn't a flex fuel, ie yellow cap vehicle. I mix it at 9 gallons of E85 to a full tank in my 2019 Silverado with the 6.2. It runs great. Any higher mix and I get the lean code.

I converted our 2016 Suburban over to E85, the sensor pigtail was under there by the tank and so I just installed a sensor, plugged it in and had the E85 table turned on in the ECM. I love running it. I took a 3mpg hit but the cleaner burn, better throttle response and UOA's seem to turn out better, its a win win for me.

When I go to fill up, it amazes me the individuals that are pumping fuel and have a flex fuel vehicle don't realize they can use the yellow handle E85 to fill up.
